The image shows a large area of desert terrain with characteristic reddish sand, reminiscent of a Martian or Middle Eastern landscape. In the centre of the frame is a small settlement consisting of light-coloured, rectangular buildings surrounded by palm trees. The houses are densely grouped together, creating the impression of a compact residential cluster in the middle of the desert. On the left side of the image, there is a separate area with palm trees and, possibly, a pond or fountain.
