The checkpoint is located in the middle of a picturesque area with green hills and bright lilac trees. The point itself is made in a modern style: a massive roof on high concrete supports, cameras and searchlights are placed on the roof. On the facade there is a large electronic screen with a green tick and inscriptions. There are small staff buildings on both sides of the road. Two lanes pass through the checkpoint, the flags of the USA and Mexico are nearby. The atmosphere of the place emphasizes the combination of nature and modern infrastructure.
