A friend of mine showed me his Jailbreak server today and by playing on it I had the idea of making a plugin that makes Counter-Terrorists able to spawn hats to order Terrorists to catch them. It works like:

A Counter-Terrorist chooses a hat from a dynamic visual menu and by holding the knife, presses USE to select it, DROP to do not give one, and LEFT_ATTACK, RIGHT_ATTACK to rotate the menu.

After the hat is select it is spawned to the floor and then, by pressing USE a Terrorist can dress it and a Counter-Terrorist can remove it (even if it is in the terrorist's head)

(By convenience, the video is made with a CT only that changes to T in

say /hatsmenu Opens the menu. The menu is for CounterTerrorists only and it's items are just visible for the player who opens it

jailbreakHats_points (Points in the circle where menu is display per each hat. Basically, increase it to smooth the animation, decrease it to make it faster)
jailbreakHats_ray (Length of circle's ray per each hat. The bigger it is the bigger the circle)
jailbreakHats_rayFactor A factor, applied to the circle's ray, to set how far the menu is from the viewer
jailbreakHats_minTrans The minimum transparency that a hat can have in the menu. (Hats closer are less transparent). Put it 255 to have no transparency differences
jailbreakHats_distance_spawn_hat Distance the hat is spawned after being selected
jailbreakHats_distance_use_hat How far one can delete/dress a hat
jailbreakHats_owner_delete Hat's can only be deleted by the CT who spawned them
jailbreakHats_effect Effect applied to the hat that is closer to you and the one you will going to select. 0 - Transparency effect. 1 - Glow effect
jailbreakHats_glow_color Color for glow effect (only)

I haven't experienced the plugin in a Jailbreak server yet since I've just finished know so, I'm open to critics and tips.

Put the hats names in a file called "jailbreakHats.ini" in the configs folder.
That file is automatically created in the first time you run this plugin (but empty).

The names of the models are the filenames without the ".mdl" extension

Do not thank me by the hats or by their concept since I'm not anyhow related to that idea. I'm just expanding it for a different use.

Download the models (and only the models if you just want to use this plugin) in that thread. This plugin doesn't need that one. But it needs the models.

Notes:

The menu is visually better with small hats. Bigger hats or extra stuff like the superman cape doesn't stays well aligned because each model has an inherent offset from the player origin.

The hats in the menu are entities in the world so if you open it close to a wall they will be inside the wall. That can only be like that (since model's size can't be changed)
